To be a volunteer

   Volunteers play an important part in our life. They can make our life more convenient and more comfortable. And the volunteers can learn a lot of interesting things from the experience.

   I want to be a volunteer that guide people in the museum. As a part of the city, I need to do something for our hometown and I want to make it more beautiful. So I volunteer to work in the museum. Because I love to learn about the history and high-tech things. And I want to let more people know about that. These are my interests. After that, I can learn more knowledge and how to talk with others. Also,it can make me happy.

   Our country is developing. So we need more people to be the volunteers.I hope our country will be stronger one day.

    I want to volunteer to help kids in an after-school program. Because in my free time, I like to help my classmates to solve their problem and troubles, and I'm good with children, so I think I'd be good at this job. Volunteering in the old people’s home

    There are many old people who live alone in the old people's house.They need people to take care of them but most people today are only worried about getting good jobs to make a lot of money.

    I think in our free time,we can do what we love to do and help others at the same time.So I decide to be a volunteer in the old people's house.Many people might ask me why I want to work in the old people's house.Well,I think I'm very happy when I am helping others.

     When the old people feel bored,I will tell stories or jokes to cheer them up.Every morning,I will read newspapers to them.In the afternoon,I can play cards with them.All in all,I can do anything that can make them happy and not feel lonely.

     Let's help them together.If you always help others,you will be very happy and you will forget any trouble.

Dream of the volunteer

I always think about what I can do to help others. Volunteering our time to help people is a good way to spend our free time.

My dream is to be a guide at a museum. I think it’s really cool to do that. I also like to tell stories or jokes to others and history is my favorite. All of these can make my life colorful.

I’m interested in telling history stories and making others happy. These will help me to be a good guide because a guide should be full of active and creative. When I was young ,I was hard-working and knew what I loved to do. From this job, I can learn how to help others and be good with strangers. I hope my dream will come true.

Children need to do housework

    Nowadays, parents give their children so much love that their children can't do anything but study. Kids depend on their parents and have a bad lifestyle.In order to change it, children need to do chores to develop their independence.

    Cooking is a good way to develop their independence. My father could cook at the age of six. And he thought he would probably live alone and on one would help him, so he practiced his cooking skill. Now he thinks if kids can't live independently, they will have a problem with their future lives. So I often do chores at home to improve my living skills.

    All in all, doing chores plays an important part in developing children's independence. If you want to be independent earlier in the future, stop day dreaming and learn to do it right away.

    I think doing chores is parents’ duty. There are many chores at home such as 

sweeping the floor, cleaning the room and so on. If we do these chores, we won’t have enough time to study and do schoolwork. Our task is to learn hard and get good 

grades for our future. And these chores are meaningless for us, we should spend our 

free time studying or doing things we like to do. Also, parents should provide a clean and comfortable environment so that we can study carefully.
      For example, my sister used to do housework all day. Her parents thought  that was a good training for her. But to our surprise, my sister’ grades dropped because

she was busy every day and didn’t have time to study well.
